Megan McGrath is from North Stradbroke Island in Queensland, Australia. She has written for the New York Times, Meanjin and Griffith Review. Her award-winning short fiction is published in literary journals and anthologies. Her recent work includes surf fiction for Tracks magazine, and the novella Whale Station. She was the inaugural winner of the Queensland Premier’s Young Publishers and Writers Award and is currently working on her first novel about oyster farming on the east coast of Australia.
When not writing, Megan enjoys travelling, swimming, surfing, reading, running, camping and cooking.
